We have been lucky enough to secure a run at West London’s newest Theatre – The Playground on Latimer Road – on the 27th, 28th and 29th June. We will present 6 x 1 act plays of 50 minutes to an hour each.
Two of the plays we are very proud to present are –
‘Invisible String’ by Emma Pitt – an issue based drama that looks at the relationship between a Thief and his Victim. It asks whether it’s ever possible to truly forgive those who have wronged us and looks at how being forgiven is sometimes less comfortable than simply living with guilt.
In this play we are looking to cast the following roles:
Claire (f) (17-21)
Danny (m) (17-21)
Sheila (f) (40-50)
Jim (m) (40-50)
Any ethnicity
And also, ‘Confessions’ by James Mannion – a quirky dark comedy looking at the secrets we keep from those closest to us, and the assumptions we make about people we barely know. Set in a ‘chocolate box’ village in middle-class England, think Midsomer Murders, but naughty.
In this play we are looking to cast the following roles:
Grace (f) (17-21)
Liam (m) (17-21)
Sarah (f) (40-50)
Matthew (m) (40-50)
Any ethnicity
There are eight roles to fill in these two exciting pieces of new writing. We are currently accepting self tapes.
Involvement in this project will mean a commitment across June. We anticipate the equivalent of about 35 – 40 hours of rehearsal will be necessary. This is a profit share opportunity.
If you would like to submit a self tape, then please send us an email telling us a little bit about yourself and why you’d like to be involved, and we will share with you the details of what we’d like to be recorded.

Look forward to hearing from you!
